IOB Joins The Human Race!

Thanks to all of IOB, our Board of Directors, Vendors and Supporting Lions Clubs for your tremendous support of the 13th annual Human Race and IOB’s Fundraising Initiative! The Race as a whole collected $260,500 for 132 nonprofit agencies in our community – and they are still counting! IOB collected a total $19,393 towards our total goal of $38,500 for an in-house Medical Center. Over 75 employees, family and friends walked for Industries of the Blind on Saturday, March 24th with Trish Jarrett leading the charge as our Team Captain. IOB was the third largest fundraiser for the race and the largest ever first-time fundraiser in the race’s 13 year history! We received recognition during the award’s ceremony and both Dan Kelly and Barry Cantrell (Leanne’s husband) received a special call-out for raising over $1,000 each. Thanks to all that participated – employees, family members, and friends.
